Email Directories

To get in touch with friends and acquaintances who you have not seen or heard from in a while, you can look them up in an email directory. Many family members and old friends have become reunited through the Internet.

When you use an email directory to look up friends, you can usually use a search based on a number of criteria. Everyone who registers for an email account through a paying service has to provide a name as well as an address. Although many free email accounts do not require a name or address, eventually, someone has to have an account that will require them to sign up. When you use an email directory, you are looking for the primary email account of the person who you are seeking.

You cannot do a search in the search engines to find someone that you want to locate online unless they have a website or have been writing articles or other writings that appear online under their real name. Even if they have a MySpace page, you will not find them through the search engines. It can be very difficult to find someone's email account online unless you use an email directory. In most cases, the email directory will give you the email address of the people who are signed up for their directory. In other words, the Yahoo email directory will give you email addresses of those who are signed up for an account with Yahoo if they have listed their real name. There is an option that you can have your email account blocked from view, just as you can have your phone number blocked.

In some cases, you can use an email directory to find the phone number and address of someone as well. In many cases, you may have to pay a subscription fee to the email directory and they will be able to tell you the email address of someone you know based upon the information that you provide. In some cases, you may be able to provide only the name of the town and the first name of the individual or just the last name.

When you use an email directory to look up names, you can find them using a number of different ways. If you have been wondering where old friends are, or family members can be, chances are you can find their email address by using one of the many email directories online. As the subscription fees are modest for the email directory, you can use them to find out whether or not your old friends are online.

It can be very rewarding to connect with old friends and family members, and loved ones with whom you have lost touch, by using an email directory. If you use an online email directory, you can usually find someone from your past who you want to contact.
